It was night time at the zoo. The zoo keeper was making his last round. He had to say good night to all the animals.
The zoo keeper walked to the first cage. Inside was a big gorilla.
"Good night, Gorilla," said the zoo keeper.
But the gorilla was very smart. When the zoo keeper was not looking, the gorilla took his keys! The zoo keeper did not see this.
The zoo keeper walked to the next cage. The elephant was there.

The zoo keeper visited the hyena next.

The gorilla opened the hyena's cage too. The hyena came out with a big smile. Now four animals were following the zoo keeper.
The zoo keeper went to see the armadillo.
"Good night, Armadillo," said the zoo keeper.
The gorilla opened this cage too. The little armadillo rolled out. Now five animals were walking behind the zoo keeper.
The zoo keeper was tired. He did not look behind him. He did not see all the animals following him.
The zoo keeper walked to his house. It was next to the zoo. He opened his front door and went inside.
All the animals followed him into the house! They walked very quietly up the stairs.
The zoo keeper went to his bedroom. He got into bed next to his wife.

"Good night, Armadillo," she said. She put the armadillo in his cage.
Last, she came to the gorilla.
"Good night, Gorilla," she said. She put the gorilla in his cage and locked it tight.
The zoo keeper's wife walked back to her house. She was very tired now.
She got back into bed next to her husband.
"Good night, dear," she said to the zoo keeper.
But wait! The gorilla had followed her again! He was very quiet. He was hiding under the bed.
"Good night," said a small voice from under the bed.
The zoo keeper's wife smiled. She was too tired to take the gorilla back again.
"Good night, Gorilla," she said softly.
And they all went to sleep.
