Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks. She had long golden hair that shone like the sun. Goldilocks lived near a big forest with her mom and dad.
One sunny morning, Goldilocks went for a walk in the forest. She loved to pick flowers and watch the birds. The forest was full of tall trees and pretty flowers.
As she walked deeper into the woods, Goldilocks saw a small house. It was a cute little house with a red roof and blue door. Smoke came from the chimney.
"I wonder who lives here," said Goldilocks.
She knocked on the door. No one answered. She knocked again. Still no one came.
Goldilocks was very curious. She tried the door handle. The door was not locked! It opened with a soft creak.
"Hello? Is anyone home?" called Goldilocks.
No one answered. So she went inside.
The house was very clean and cozy. In the kitchen, Goldilocks saw three bowls on the table. The bowls were different sizes. One was big, one was medium, and one was small.
Goldilocks was hungry. She smelled something good. It was porridge! The three bowls were full of hot porridge.
First, she tried the porridge in the big bowl. "Ouch!" she said. "This is too hot!"
Next, she tried the porridge in the medium bowl. "Brrr!" she said. "This is too cold!"
Then she tried the porridge in the small bowl. "Mmm!" she said. "This is just right!" She ate all the porridge in the small bowl.
After eating, Goldilocks felt tired. She saw three chairs in the living room. They were different sizes too. One was big, one was medium, and one was small.
First, she sat in the big chair. "This is too hard!" she said.
Next, she sat in the medium chair. "This is too soft!" she said.
Then she sat in the small chair. "This is just right!" she said. But when she sat down, the chair broke! It fell into pieces.
"Oh no!" said Goldilocks.
Now Goldilocks was very sleepy. She went upstairs and found a bedroom. There were three beds. They were different sizes. One was big, one was medium, and one was small.
First, she lay on the big bed. "This is too firm!" she said.
Next, she lay on the medium bed. "This is too bouncy!" she said.
Then she lay on the small bed. "This is just right!" she said. Soon she fell fast asleep.

Baby Bear looked at his bowl. "Someone has been eating my porridge, and it's all gone!" he cried.
Then the three bears went to the living room.
Papa Bear looked at his chair. "Someone has been sitting in my chair!" he said.
Mama Bear looked at her chair. "Someone has been sitting in my chair too!" she said.
Baby Bear looked at his chair. "Someone has been sitting in my chair, and now it's broken!" he cried.
The three bears went upstairs to check their bedroom.
Papa Bear looked at his bed. "Someone has been sleeping in my bed!" he said.
Mama Bear looked at her bed. "Someone has been sleeping in my bed too!" she said.
Baby Bear looked at his bed. "Someone has been sleeping in my bed, and she's still there!" he shouted.
Goldilocks woke up when she heard Baby Bear's voice. She saw the three bears looking at her. She was very scared!
"Oh my!" cried Goldilocks.
She jumped out of bed and ran to the window. She climbed out and ran into the forest as fast as she could.
The three bears watched her go. They were not angry anymore. They were just happy to have their house back.
Goldilocks ran all the way home. She told her mom and dad what happened.
"You should not go into other people's houses," said her mom.
"Always ask before you take things," said her dad.
Goldilocks learned her lesson that day. She never went into someone else's house again without asking.
And the three bears? They fixed Baby Bear's chair and lived happily ever after.
